Fenix DFA, a SaaS platform specializing in data resilience and compliance, has partnered with Little Rebels, a global initiative focused on education and female empowerment, to launch the “Rebels in Tech” campaign. The initiative aims to increase the presence of women in preserving corporate legacies and highlight the role of backup management as a key element for business continuity and regulatory compliance.
The campaign was unveiled at the end of May during an exclusive event for about 30 CIOs, CISOs, and IT Managers, marking the start of a series of actions designed to increase female representation in strategic positions within the sector and reinforce the importance of data protection as a pillar of corporate sustainability.
“When I learned about Marjorie’s work, I realized we were addressing the same topic from complementary perspectives: legacy. At Fenix DFA, we understand that protecting critical data is essential to ensure business continuity—and that requires visibility and action. Most backup issues are silent. If no one is notified, nothing gets fixed. That’s why this campaign goes beyond representation: it brings together the transformative vision of female leaders with the analytical power of Fenix DFA to tackle one of the biggest challenges in modern IT— the imminent risk of data loss, especially in the face of cyberattacks,”
says Alexandre Paoleschi, founder of Fenix DFA and CEO of KYMO Investments.
During the event, Paoleschi announced that Fenix DFA will allocate 1% of its revenue in Brazil over the next 12 months to support Rebels in Tech projects focused on training, mentoring, and creating educational content for women in the IT sector.
Founded in 2019 by Marjorie Spitalnik, Little Rebels empowers through play, telling the stories of disruptive women who have made and continue to make history—such as Marie Curie and Malala Yousafzai—through educational content and collectible dolls. At the campaign’s launch, the doll of Ada Lovelace, a pioneer in computing and recognized as the world’s first programmer, was presented.
“Rebels in Tech was born to honor the past and shape the future of women in IT. That’s why the partnership with Fenix DFA makes perfect sense. Little Rebels preserves the stories of these women, while Fenix DFA ensures that legacy remains intact—with no data or knowledge lost. Together, we’re on a mission to protect legacy, ensure continuity, and keep memory alive,”
says Marjorie.
